    Default Who will fight Penn?

Fitch withdrew from the UFC 132 fight against Penn, due to a shoulder injury. Who do you think will replace Fitch?

Last rumor I heard was Condit, which makes perfect sense. He beat Hardy one fight removed from a title shot, then if he beats Penn immediately after a draw with Fitch, he's got to be next in line for a title shot.

Penn's in a wierd spot right now. He's 0-2 against the champ at LW and WW, buy he's still probably top 3-5 in each weightclass. If he keeps winning, where's he go? Unless he can dominate Fitch or Maynard, he's going to be a stepping stone: beat him, get a title shot.

@ 170 Condit probably is the best bet, if weight isn't a huge issue maybe Miller at 155.

Looks like it might be Fitch after all

According to a report from the Wrestling Observer, Penn has picked up an injury that could force him to pull himself off the July 2nd card.

Other than reports that Penn will be undergoing a MRI too look at his injury, there are no other details. Stay tuned for updates on the situation.

Yeah, I just heard this... With Jon Fitch hurt, B.J. Penn won't fight at UFC 132 in July | MMAjunkie.com I didn't think he would pull out...

I was really looking forward to Penn vs Fitch II, but they just announced Condit vs Stun Gun instead! That's going to be a FOTY candidate!
