    Default Saddoboxing Official Ratings

    How the SaddoBoxing Ratings work:

    · Rankings for each weight class were initially voted for by SaddoBoxing members. No Championships were given in the initial rankings.

    · If the #1 ranked fighter fights the #2 ranked fighter and the championship is vacant, that fight automatically qualifies for the Saddoboxing Championship.

    · If the #1 ranked fighter fights the #3, #4 or #5 ranked fighter and the championship is vacant, it will be decided if it merits being for the Saddoboxing Championship or not.

    · If a fighter beats a higher ranked fighter they take that spot.

    · If a rated fighter beats a fighter rated lower than him it will be decided if he should advance one or two spots or remain at his current ranking depending on the relevance of his victory.

    · If a fighter ranked as Champion down thru to #5 loses; it will be decided whether he is demoted one to three spots depending how bad the loss is deemed. If the loss is to an unranked fighter the option to remove him straight to the pool will be considered.

    · If a fighter ranked #6 thru to #10 loses; it will be decided how far he should be demoted. With removing him to the pool also an option.

    · If a rated fighter loses to a fighter rated above him; it will be decided if he should retain his rank or be demoted.

    · It will be decided which fights or fighters should fill vacancies in the top ten.

    · Draws have no effect on the rankings.

    · If a Champion or ranked fighter does not fight within a year; it will be decided whether to give him a six month extension or to remove him to the pool. If removed to the pool the fighter must win a bout before being eligible to be rated again. If a fighter who was granted an extension loses his next fight it will be decided how far he should be demoted. With removing him to the pool also an option.

    · If a fighter has not won a fight in two years it will be decided if he receives a six month extension or is removed to the pool.

    · Fighters can be ranked in multiple weight classes.

    · Inactivity or poor performances can lead to a one spot demotion.

    · If a fighter loses two fights in a row; it will be decided if he is removed directly to the pool.

Alright, lets vote on Vazquez and Marquez

Vaqzuez: Extension to 18 months, If I don't hear anything before then (mid-July) he goes to the pool.

Marquez: Goes to the pool directly.

Izzy gets special treatment because he is the lineal champ.

as 122 manager i think Vasquez should stay in the ratings for now, Marquez is out for now but well have to see what he does next, as his taken out for inactivity does that mean one win agaisnt anyone puts him back in at his same position ? maybe a stupid question but just confuses me a little

Sorry bro, I thought Dunne had been ranked before we took of Marquez. Better to have the top 10 fill though where we can!
That brings up a point about our system though, if there are no vacancies and someone new enters the ranks, whoever is #10 is gonna get bumped to the pool, personally, I'm ok with that.
    I'm good with that!

I have an issue I would like to raise regarding the LMW division. Sergio Mora has signed to fight Kelly Pavlik at MW and will likely stay in that division after he gets knocked out the fight. I suggest he be removed from the 154lb. rankings and put into the 160lb. pool.

I'll second putting Mora in the 160 pool, but no need to remove him from 154 until he makes an official announcement. Something tells me after he gets knocked out the fight, he's gonna jump back down to 154. If he does stay up at 160 and doesn't make an announcement he will be removed in due time anyway.

While I think he should stay at 154 where I think he could do some damage, he's stated that it is too difficult for him to make the weight. However, I agree with him remaining ranked at 154 and being included in the pool for 160 for now.

I think the fighters should be given the years grace, if they fail to fight at the weight they are ranked within a year of their last fight there then they should be removed to one of the pools. Mundine is a perfect example, he last fought at 160 but only fought at 168 in November I think. Plus we got Cazares fighting early this week against Vasquez at 115, should he lose he may return to 112.

My 105 pool looks pretty thin so I would like to propose that the winner of the upcoming fight between Yasutaka Kuroki & Junichiro Kaneda gets awarded a place in the 105 pool.

Also am I correct in assuming that if a fighter in the pool loses he is removed? Or only if they lose to an unranked fighter?
