It's high time that boxers start fighting back against these greedy promoters who take 90% of the proceeds while the guys who are risking their lives and put people in the seats are left to fight over what's left.

Standard procedure from Bob that you have to take him to court to see the numbers. Even then you won't get what he owes you but you'll get a better deal going forward. This style of business doesn't fly in general but somehow boxing is trapped in the roaring 20s. I'm amazed nobody has come in with a new progressive model and taken over. Same old fight names, same old fight posters, same old promotional tours that only interest boxing fans. I get why promoters don't want change but why isn't a young fighter saying wait a minute there are cross promotion opportunities everywhere I need innovation. So busy fighting over every penny in the old fountain they can't see the new cash grab booth adjacent.
