Fighters controlling their careers is a good thing. Warren has lost Groves and now Burns? I think I will soon not be subscribing to box nation if this keeps up.

Ricky has only had one fight in a year which is not good for a world champion.
More importantly its not good for a 29 year old at a lighter weight, he needs activity to keep his prime going.

Wow, this is a massive blow to Frank Warren. His only chance now is to invest and try and capitalize on other promotors unhappy fighters.
As for Burns, I think he may be signing with Matchroom. Hearn said they'd announce more signings shortly, maybe this is what he was talking about.

starting Boxnation has really killed off Warrens promotional company. Maybe it sounded like a good idea in his head at the time but fighters have jumped ship at an alarming rate since he started it, recognising their careers will go nowhere on a tiny niche chanel. I thought part of the plan was with his own channel he'd have all the tv dates he wanted but he's put on less shows the last year or so, I don't blame guys like Burns fighting once in a year and finally getting sick of it.

Rumours that Hearn will sign Burns is still going on and if that happens I find it Impossible to believe that Burns won't fight Broner. Burns would fight anyone, Broner wants the fight and it would keep Hearns American friends very happy. It is a big fight. It will happen.
