    Default What Know!!!!!!!!!

    Breakfast a cooked one is bad for you,! it could cause cancer eating bacon,! sausage, are we
    getting paranoid, all the experts telling us to eat this don't eat that, I remember a old guy had
    a cooked breakfast everyday, and he was a smoker he lived till he was 86, yep 86.!!!!

    There are no guarantees how long you will live is there,!!!!! there is nothing wrong with eating
    meat in moderation, the scaremongers are at it again we all have a good idea, what is good
    and bad for us, a Nannie state is on the bloody way.

    It's funny, I guess we won't know until we get to the end how much we will regret our poor choices. Food is a true pleasure in life, I wouldn't be as happy eating alfalfa and lima beans. It's bacon for me........mmmmmmmmmmm......bacon

    Eggs can give you high cholesterol

    Egg whites are good for you

    Egg yolks have all the cholesterol

    There is good cholesterol and bad cholesterol

    Hey, does anyone know the final verdict on eggs; are they good or are they bad. I think eggs provide almost complete nutrition so being spoiled by this cholesterol problem (or non-problem) seems to be such a waste for such a wonderful food. I prefer egg to milk.

    My view is this: the less man has to do in order to make a food safe to consume the better.

    Therefore eggs, only needing to be cooked are quite good for you. Cholesterol is more of a genetic issue.

    Thanks, bud, for your view, but since I'm about to cross my twilight zone I have to be sure about it coz I don't want to step on a potential land mine, naw it's more of a time bomb. But I do cheat once in awhile though. Folks here sez those American-style breakfast of mine is gonna do me in one of these days... I hope not.

    There has never been a proven link between dietary and blood cholesterol, that's all rubbish, eggs are great. Bacon or almost anything like it, deli meats etc DO contain carcinogens, that is not rubbish. Agree it's not worth worrying about though, just decide which gives you more enjoyment and peace of mind in the long run.

    The view of the experts changes from week to week, what is good for us and what is not,!
    I like a cooked breakfast now and than, we seem to be bloody stupid the human race with
    fads etc, it seems people are obsess with what is healthy and what is not, I find the smell
    of cooking bacon to be irresistible, tell me somebody who says other wise is full of crap.

    Science, they are into cellular level stuff at the moment. Glucose is humans enemy much more than meat regarding cancer cell growth.

    Its chemical change. From what Ive read, If it worries you and it runs in the family,cancer starting in the stomach and still want well done meats or bacon; take apricot kernels mixed with a touch of cottage cheese afterwards.I think the kernels are negative charged as is the stomach wall lining, so they will repel on their own and do nothing but the cheese mashed into them so its a paste turns it positive so it goes through the wall into the cells.

    But smoking bacon will cure it??
