Seriously man, me and my girl we fight a lot. Our first year was chaos, the only bright light we can look to is that we have seen the worst of eachother in our oppinion but still pull through holding hands together.
There are days I can't stand her but yet i know shes the best thing that has happen to me.
So whats your secret TM, how have you made your marriage last 11 years and still going strong? Please share to a younger saddobrotha

Learn to cook,even if you arent doing all the cooking(I do,but Im a food snob,and a pretty good cook) she'll appreciate your effort,and your making her life a little easier
Learn that you no longer have "Your finances",you have our finances
Goof off with her,when she's puttering around the garden,hang out and talk to her while she's doing it
NEVER go to sleep po'ed,talk it out before you go to bed,its a cliche,but sometimes cliche's exist for a reason
Pets are actually a good stress release,screwing around with my Pit Bull can mellow me out,though I will say,I should have a sign over my gym saying,"Do not put on your boxing shoes until dog has had chance to say hi!,because dog may piddle"
Movies,sometimes after tucking the boy in,just snuggling up on the couch to watch a movie is good bonding
I hate this last one,because it sounds sexist as hell,but it is true,know when her privates are temporarily closed for repairs,when this happens they have five tons of hormones being dumped in to their system. You wouldnt be your most reasonable around then. So make allowances for it

We both went in to the marriage with the same attitude,dont say "I do" unless you mean it
Too many people go in to marriage,thinking theyre supposed to get married,not thinking about it past that.
Every aspect of our life together has been pretty thought out.
From having our kid,to getting married.
Though we have an unnerving tendency to just agree. Deciding to get married was more or less,"Why arent we married?" And I went and got her a dozen roses and an engagement ring for her birthday.
Even naming our son was, "How about Alaric?"
"Ok"
