This is probably the one thing that ticks me off about Trump supporters beyond their denial of his governance which is treating everyone who points out his policies or lackthereof as Democrats.

Not to you personally, but you're about the only one who will at least acknowledge sentences you read.

I say this to my relative who voted for him as well with you: I can't help you on how Democrats respond, I am not one & have never shown bias or favortism of a single Democrat during my years here.

I think I understand why it occurs or as @Beanz words it better than I can. It is as if Trump supporters have to create an enemy to justify the hate they have.

Case in point when it took @Gandalf 4 pages into my Qanon thread to say- well it seems as if this is a thread about qanon. No shit? who would've thunk it?

There is a moral side in him that won't result to insults so he distances himself from my posts - he disagrees with my perspective, & i respect his resolve- but at some point made it clear- he, like other Trump supporters dont come to discuss the topic, they discuss whatever they want regardless of the topic matter. Then label us all as Democrats.

I'm anti Democrat & anti Republican- the proof is in every post I've ever written here on politics..

You've certainly criticized both, for sure. Not many of us on here have done that.

As for me, I've always maintained I agree with policies from both parties. If anyone would care to discuss individual issues from their platforms on an unbiased basis..... I'm there.

I think what it is boils down to blind loyalty and/or faith in an individual.

One individual does not a political Party make. In fact, it's always been a well-known fact there are plenty of Republicans who abhor Trump and HAVE from the beginning. They've just been drowned out by the vocal remainder.

Gone are the days when two grown men could stand on a stage and debate policy, with knowledgeable people either nodding or shaking their heads in agreement or disagreement.

Now it's all about STYLE POINTS...... and who can hurl the best one-liner.

    Sad.

The infrastructure tweet stood out to me. Since 2010- rise of the Tea Party - Birthers, up to Drumpf, they have next to nothing they offered. Saddled U.S. with back to back trillion dollar defict bills. backed by Trump who said he didnt even read the bills that he signed.

And as figures, the FIX or FOX crew acting as if Dems aren't spending enough on infrastructure- instead of stating they already took care of it.

As far as the people calling others cancel culture- what can be said? Their pimp has been dictating to them who they should boycott since he took office-remember when he told America & Christie- no more oreos? LOL! Who the heck is this guy dictating to people to boycott everyone's businesses to Mexico or overseas- except him and the daughter he wished he could bone? Hey if he shows favortism for one daughter over another, surely he would show favoritism for certain companies overseas (stay mum) and for those he could care less for...well out them.

Same old story on trying to identify exactly how many jobs/businesses came back as only right wing news/radio/think tanks reports on those that came back.
Mainstream only talked about those that didnt come back- so difficult to find a new source that weighed both.

    "Trump Steaks"

    by Char C. coal

Cut up a steak and smack it down on the grill
Watch it from out your windows still
The embers on the fire glowing hot
You take some butter and garlic that's what!

Get the ketchup and slather it on
Burnt well done like a real Don
Down at the okay corral at Ponderosa
Screw the barbecue I'm hanging out with Omarosa

You may be surprised to learn that of the trio of long-awaited coronavirus vaccines, the most promising, Moderna’s mRNA-1273, which reported a 94.5 percent efficacy rate on November 16, had been designed by January 13. This was just two days after the genetic sequence had been made public in an act of scientific and humanitarian generosity that resulted in China’s Yong-Zhen Zhang’s being temporarily forced out of his lab. In Massachusetts, the Moderna vaccine design took all of one weekend. It was completed before China had even acknowledged that the disease could be transmitted from human to human, more than a week before the first confirmed coronavirus case in the United States. By the time the first American death was announced a month later, the vaccine had already been manufactured and shipped to the National Institutes of Health for the beginning of its Phase I clinical trial. This is — as the country and the world are rightly celebrating — the fastest timeline of development in the history of vaccines. It also means that for the entire span of the pandemic in this country, which has already killed more than 250,000 Americans, we had the tools we needed to prevent it .

    https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2020...ne-design.html

If Donald Trump had had the capacity to read and process data in his head and any kind of work ethic instead of just watching TV all day he could have changed history here, owned the libs on a world historical scale and become a venerated statesman and hero all over the world.

If he'd been in the least curious about how vaccines work and are developed he would have found out abour challenge trials. You literally inject people with the virus to see if vaccines work. This would have speeded up the vaccine trials from almost the year that they took to a few weeks. The medical profession would have hated it because it's unethical but Trump would have loved the controversy. He could have been the guy who got things done while everybody else fannied about.

Could have even had the trials in Brazil or somewhere where it would be foreign peasants taking the risk versus Americans. You can see how the lib-Trump arguments about this would play out. And Trump could, for pennies compared to the trillions spent on lockdown bills have come up with a proven vaccine, vaccinated Americans then vaccinated the world as everybody else sat around. He'd have been a global hero going into the American elections.

    This came out

    https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/07/u...itol-riot.html

and it got me to go and read this. This bit about the then head of Fox News is spectacular:

At some point after the 2008 election, something changed with my friend Roger Ailes. I once met him in New York during the Obama years to plead with him to put a leash on some of the crazies he was putting on the air. It was making my job trying to accomplish anything conservative that much harder. I didn’t expect this meeting to change anything, but I still thought it was bullshit, and I wanted Roger to know it.
When I put it to him like that, he didn’t have much to say. But he did go on and on about the terrorist attack on the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi, which he thought was part of a grand conspiracy that led back to Hillary Clinton. Then he outlined elaborate plots by which George Soros and the Clintons and Obama (and whoever else came to mind) were trying to destroy him.
“They’re monitoring me,” he assured me about the Obama White House. He told me he had a “safe room” built so he couldn’t be spied on. His mansion was being protected by combat-ready security personnel, he said. There was a lot of conspiratorial talk. It was like he’d been reading whacked-out spy novels all weekend.

And it was clear that he believed all of this crazy stuff. I walked out of that meeting in a daze. I just didn’t believe the entire federal government was so terrified of Roger Ailes that they’d break about a dozen laws to bring him down. I thought I could get him to control the crazies, and instead I found myself talking to the president of the club.

That's all well and good and I def agree, but listen to the man's words in the video I posted. The Atlanta voting law is no Jim Crow.

I read somewhere else the most likely fifty next pandemics could be nipped off immediately by producing vaccines now for absolute buttons.

ohh then there's this lil gem from 2 hours ago:

For me he is the wrong guy to say it. Coming from someone who told black people The Healthcare act was the worst thing since slavery? Then turn around and back up white republicans that constantly claim- there is no racism in America, excpet by Democrats-( F) that hoe' ass white man's barking dog.

The way he feels about the Georgia law is the way I feel about the ACA Act. It wasn't racist and it wasnt the worst thing since slavery. How was slavery placed on all of America via ACA Act?
(not asking you, just stating my case)

Major corporations don't seem to agree with him. And we both know whatever Dems push, Repubs hate it all. Whatever Repubs push, Dems hate it all.
Ben Carson is assuming the position defending whites, Republicans, right wingers.

Again we enter the stupid narrative. Talk about whether or not it is Jim Crowesque- and not talk about what the laws actually do.

Keep Jim Crow in the people's mouths- and they won't even know what the heck is in it- debate the book cover . Not the contents.
Ben is a ho' ass negro.

    @SlimTrae

"Ho-ass negro" had me in stitches for 1 solid minute.

But remember Joe Biden said it's not just Jim Crow, "it's Jim Eagle". He's the one who's really pushing that.

You're 100% correct, he's pushing Jim Crow & Jim Eagle. Politisizing the Georgia law as opposed to discussing it or fight it- if he feels the need to do so. But to use words from the past- he knows he is trying to conjure up instant malice. That's wrong.

I guess it means We have reason to accept an Obama statement- never underestimate Joe's ability to fuck things up.

I'm Joe Biden and I am a Democratic caucus. Anyone ever been to one, no you're a lying dogface pony soldier.

or 48 seconds in he states "I'm Joe Biden's husband"

This mofo aint well. Damn Democrats. WTF!?

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...ts/7001372002/

Did he just say in the clip above- we should go back to the filibuster the way it existed when I came to the senate (120) years ago...

And I am so tired of the filibuster-flipflop. Democrats wanting the filibuster when they're the minority and not wanting it when they're the majority. I can quote these clowns going back several decades.

& for those who haven't heard of Jim Eagle--
    https://www.shorenewsnetwork.com/202...-does-it-mean/

I've read the liberal justification- We can envision Jim Eagle to trend for some time. Perhaps it can spark a Jim Eagle brand of whiskey or Jim Eagle beef jerky.

I mean what can we say, when the President to be- introduces himself as

    "Hi everyone...I'm Joe Biden's Husband?"
