How can I improve both?
Stamina as in being able to go about 3-4 rounds without being out of gas.
As in being able to keep my arms up all throughout the round
As in being able to throw punches throughout the round.
Thanks.

stamina=skipping
speed=speed bag
mate skipping will help your overall stamina but make sure you go at different speeds and not at a constant pace for 20 mins or whatever. i found that i could skip or run all day but when it came to explosive punching i would tire to easy. i had to do sprinting and circuit training till i dropped to see any improvement.
punch-outs. nothing better.
Von, when you do punch outs are you only using straight shots or do you also use combinations?Originally Posted by Von Milash

Strength and speed, come from applying the correct approach to training. Being smart and not overdoing it.

well said as always scrap cc. listenin to your trainers an take in as much as possible.
just straight for the most part. kinda like crosses. I get my shoulders going and make sure i rotate on the balls of both feet and I make sure that my feet don't end up squaring up to the bag.
Skipping will help me not tire as easily and keeping my hands up even when they are really tired?
Bag work helps that a lot. I learnt to keep my hands up on the bag because....guess what, you hold your hands up on the bag (if done properly)
Sparring is excellent for fitness, and skipping can give you good stamina to be able to go longer.
