    Default Chavez' thick skull..

was just watching the Chavez/Randall II fight and Chavez had to of had one of the hardest heads and greatest chins ever, the second round to me is one of the best displays of just how good his chin was, he got whacked with a huge straight right almost goes down, squats down and pushes his way back up, never allowing the knock down, i mean his will just to not allow himself to be weaker than his opponants was just amazing

He had a great chin, and his head in person his bigger then avg.

I think the ring stuff all had to do with preparation & training I mean during his best days he was all about the fight abd was constantly training and always kept busy in the ring.

Yeah Chavez had a hell of a chin.. He had over 90 fights and Randall was the first guy to ever put him down, and only the 3rd guy to beat him.

chavez was always a guy i loved to hate he was dirty at times and he got some gift descisions in his carreer but as much as i hated him id have to say he was even p4p one of the best ever.

ya know i thought he kinda looked good against robinson and thought he might be making a full comeback but i saw he lost a tko to some guy in mexico after that? anyone know what happened?
    stopped on cuts im guessing?

All mexicans have thick skulls, I have fought three of them and I don't mean boxing I mean street fights. They can take a hell of a punch.

Randall was the first to beat him
No, Juan Laporte was, and then Pernel Whitakker.

i thought that Chavez did enough to get the win over Laporte, Whitaker could be argued

whitaker vs chavez was one of worst robberys ive ever seen poor whitaker got robbed throughout his career and some people think taylor vs chavez was robbery considering chavez couldnt even get to otherside of the ring in two seconds i know people will disagree and have different opinions on it but thats my opinion anyway

Nah, Laporte won, chavez did enough to make it close. Whitaker cannot be argued either, there is absolutely no question that Chavez got completely schooled in that fight and lost a completely lopsided affair.. He had 60,000 fans there and the arena is silent after rd 2 on, Whittaker won at the minimum 9 rounds, more like 10. It was never, ever close.
