Default EA shelves Fight Night series to concentrate on UFC

Was just thinking that a further Fight Night installment is long overdue and found this. FFS !

EA now think MMA is where it's at (I've never watched any MMA), not good signs

It is just a time being thing. EA MMA kinda bombed in sales, even though it wasn't a bad game, so they decided to put the EA Canada Fight Night team on the job after they got the UFC licence because they changed the boxing market. They want UFC to do well so they're focusing their efforts on that, then they go back to Fight Night. They said it would be alternate years anyway. MMA 1 year, Fight Night the next. UFC is out early 2014 so expect a Fight Night in 18 months.

I googled this a few weeks back. Still play FN pretty much every week.

I defo will not be buying the new xbox or ps until a new top-notch boxing game comes out.

As a big MMA fan, I'm hoping they can make a game for MMA what FN Champion was for boxing. FN Champion was the greatest boxing game ever.

I know a dude with the original Ring Kings set up in the man cave. My my how things have evolved . What turned me off EA was control change, went through about 1 a week with broke sticks.

2K games should take over, they do incredibly well with their sport series too.

Admittedly, when this game came out, I had NO idea who Floyd Mayweather was?!! (Although I knew exactly who Kevin Kelly was )

    *clears throat for rant*

    WHAT THE ACTUAL MOTHERFUCK!?

They needed four years to fix the god damn game. Boxing game without MAYWEATHER? KHAN? And many, many, other big draws in boxing

Plus the legacy mode?? I won and unified all the belts by my 25th fight as a heavyweight and the you can only fight one of the top 6 fighters and they NEVER CHANGE, so by fight 50 I've rematched Ali & tyson like 8 times and never went past the 3rd against Tyson!

AND you can only jump a weight class once, so my welterweight won and unified all the belts and then you can jump only to middleweight because they missed out and skipped weights like they didn't exist, and once I unified MW what next?..... Nothing because you can't jump another weight (they missed supper middle, which has arguably the best and most exciting fighters in it) and if I could I'd have to jump to Light heavy, which shouldn't be too difficult as a 5'6 140lb guy, but you can't even do that.

Plus online is bullshit, upgrade one punch and just throw it all fight. You start at 78 rated with 2 straight hand power and if you upgrade it the 20(1 punch knockout power) your still rated 78
So you start as a brand new fighter and not very good and your always going to fight Vitali Klitschko!!!

I'm actually a little glad, because like I said EA need more goddamn time to fix my god damn game!

    Fuck!

Khan is easy to make in CAB, just make a brown guy and set handspeed to 100 and chin to 0
