I can write up a big post but in the end I think all it would say is that I am proud of Froch. My hats off to him.
Guess ward woulda beat the shit outta butte.
Well Kessler was at ringside, I know they were setting up a fight with Bute But that would be gone now.
I would like to see Froch Vs Kessler II, but this time in England , but we will see if Saurland just want´s to milk the cow, I am affaid it could be Kessler vs Brian Magee, in Denmark.
On reflection you would have to put that up there with anything Froch has ever done. He came out, didn't start slow and took it to his opponent. It was his most aggressive showing since Pascal and it's been missing at times in some fights. You sense that Froch hasn't let it all go in the ring and Kessler and Ward were those kinds of fights. I would like to see Froch against both Kessler and Ward again and with this search and destroy mindset.
He took Bute's soul today and there is no point in a rematch whatsoever. Bute was in it for all of a minute.
Calzaghe/Lacy is a classic for me and I never tire of it. This was a cracking fight too. All those that picked Bute might disagree, but I am laughing at them. Hahaha!
Tyson vs Berbick , Spinks & Holmes were definitely classics... Three fights that accumulated a total of just 7 rounds of boxing.
Just watched the fight...wow and double wow...well done Mr Froch
job biscuit (great result)!!!
eh eh!!!
how did all you have the fight at the time of stoppage , i had it 40-36 Froch , great performance
Congratulations Carl the Cobra Froch
@Saddo - Thanks boss!
cheers
I'd like to feel vindicated about my bitching about Bute being overrated but I totally didn't see Froch's career coming. I remember thinking, before he stepped up, that he was way too open defensively to be a top fighter.
Not to piss on Froch's parade but did the foot injury hamper Bute, he was easy to hit.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
