    Default Mid-Year award leaders thus far...

    These are my leaders thus far for year end awards...


    Fight of the Year: Figueroa vs. Nihito


    Upset of the Year: Soto-Karass vs. Berto


    Fighter of the Year: Gennady Golovkin


    Round of the Year: Round 3 of Figueroa vs. Nihito


    Knockout of the Year: Ao KO over Paredes

    was provo bradley this year cause that certainly qualified for foty and im sure one of the rounds in there also qualified for roty, but all good choices.

    Jones v ledbedev was the best fight I have seen this year.

    Fight of the Year: Bradley-Provo or Lebedev - Jones


    Upset of the Year: Tony Thompson - David Price I


    Fighter of the Year: Guillermo Rigondeaux - I think he's had the most significant win so far this year. As far as I know, he's the only fighter who has beat a top ten p4p talent.


    Round of the Year: Round 3 of Figueroa vs. Nihito - that's a good one. Need to think on this one more.


    Knockout of the Year: I'm partial to body shots. I probably lean GGG's KO of Macklin. Stevenson over Dawson though was pretty nutty.

    While I agree that Rigondeaux has had the most meaningful win this year I'm afraid one win does not win you the award.
    While GGG has had less meaningful bouts he has had 3 wins with 1 of them being solid/top win over Mack and he's set to fight twice more this year apperantly.
