    According fury, Basile -
" looks good , with over 70 fights"
Well if you don't hit hard then fight someone easy to KO and pad that record.

Apparently Gonzalo Omar "Im"Basile narrowly edged out Mr. Cool Ice to get this shot at Fury

Fury was willing to fight Haye.

So this is clearly just a warm up as the Haye fight fell through.

I haven't issues with Fury fighting this guy.

Yes we know that but is there much point in having a warm up against a guy you expect to get rid of in a round? He needed someone durable to get a few rounds with. This fight is obviously just for Warren to showcase him but its not going to do Fury any good

If Fury was ready for Haye's skill level then why the hell does he need a "warm up"?

He might even end up toying with this opponent like he did with Rogan, pissing around going in to southpaw the entire fight like Rogan was nothing just to get rounds in. Dont forget it is just being used as a warm up and not as some other fighters have used Basile for as a step up in competition

God you talk shite. Who has used this as a step up in competition? Szpilka? in his 10th or 11th fight? Who is now fighting Jennings in his 16th or 17h fight? Dimitrenko? So what? He fought Basile after Basile had 25 straight wins and wasnt calling himself the greatest heavyweight ever when doing so.

    Ok, put it this way.

Furys next opponent is ranked higher than Pulevs last

Oh yeah! And Pulev lost the first two rounds and got dropped by an even lower ranked fighter in his most recent fight! Hahahahaha!

Again what's ur point? Pulev just beat Thompson, Ustinov and Dimitrenko in his last 3 fights and Abrel was a late replacement (1 weeks notice I think) so didn't have long to find anyone better. His competition has been a lot better then Furys if you are trying to make a comparison. I don't think Pulev is particularly good anyway. Him and Fury would be a good fight but like most potential fights probably won't happen. Doubt Fury will fight anyone with a pulse unless the money is big and right now that's only Haye and Klit, maybe Joshua or Price in a few years.
