I think Corrales would batter Valero, for about 4 rounds by using his better boxing skills, then Corrales gets over confident and starts to trade with Valero but then out of nowhere Valero land's a crunching straight left on Corrales's chin, and Corrales goes down but gets up at the count of 8 but still shaky. Valero goes in for the kill but Corrales covers up well then Valero starts to run out of steam and drops his hands and he gets hit with counter left hook from Corrales, and Corrales sensing that he has stunned Valero goes in the for kill and hits Valero with another solid left hook that really stuns Valero, Valero is now along the ropes trying to survive but Corrales batters Valero along the ropes and hits him with a right hook followed by two solid left hooks and an uppercut that rocks Valero's head up forcing a stoppage from the ref.

Some of the fans question the stoppage but they don't question how great this fight was.

So you think it would be exciting? I know 100% that Corrales is a far far better fighter than Valero but his TOTAL lack of defence and questionable chin(although his TREMENDOUS heart made up for it) make him liable to be caught and ko'ed by one of Valero's bombs. I'd take Corrales picking himself off the canvas to win via KO in the 7th.

Yes but i also think Corrales would out box Valero, until he starts to brawl with Valero, because a lot of people forget Corrales has some good skills when he uses them.

The more complete Corrales would win if he wwas in his prime.

However, the war torn Chico of a couple of years back would have been battered by the Young Valero I think.

It all depend son when they meet and three fights could have three different conclusions.
