    Default The Ultimate Saddo Snub

    Damn...

Not a thread... not a mention... not a glance at last night's Thurman-Barrios fight (at least that I could see).

Did I watch it? Uhh... no. But that's besides the point.

I'm honestly shocked that this fight not only flew under the Saddo radar... it never left the runway at all.

I know, I know... nobody cares about a fighter that hadn't fought since the last decade.

Let's see where he goes from here. It's not like he doesn't have plenty of options at welter.

    Terribly promoted in my opinion.

I’ll watch pretty much any boxing I can find, even random fighters and card I’d never heard of but I didnt even know about this fight until midday yesterday.

Keith one time per decade Thurman is the future of welterweight boxing.

I was really hoping he was the best welterweight and would prove it. He has been so inactive that he has wasted his career away.

It was mentioned but can't really get pumped for something you know you're not watching and missed . To put basic build back opponent making matches like this behind a now monthly PPV wall is lunacy. Air this on 'free' Fox tv fight night and it would have blown up huge. Part-Time Thurman has that charisma, can talk it up fan appeal and the division is in shift but I put this under the radar bust more on the promotion than fans. PBC has gone to the well far too many times with ppv anchors.

I was not interested in seeing Thurman fight a guy that was just beaten up by a much smaller guy... I passed on the fight.
