Default Sad day for Boxing Die Hard Fans

Audley Harrison has officially called time on a magnificent career, globetrotting around the world fighting the best and picking up the prestigious WBF Heavyweight World Championship and fought a Super fight for the WBA bauble against the modern day great David Haye.

He was also a 2 time Prize Fighter champion and compiled a near perfect resume of 31-7 (23) and will be sadly missed by any die hard boxing fan, Good Luck Champ in retirement....YOU sure Deserve it!!!!

hahahahahah.... there was no where else for Audley to go 6 or 7 years ago. It was pretty much done for about the last five years. He truly offered no real competition for anyone...

What he could have done was given Joshua or Fury a fight just for taking the fight's sake. He would have made a few bucks after a few rounds and retired in style.

Hopefully he has a few dollars stashed away and he will go into other business ventures, etc...

He had Brits cursing all over the world, when all those high hopes came crashing down.
    An unavoidable occurrence in boxing!

I really thought he was going to take over from Lennox. So did Lewis. I think becoming a millionaire before having one pro fight and those silk sheets ruined him. He had it all. If I was British I'd consider him the biggest bust with the most talent in British boxing history.

Audley was a world class talker but was terrified of getting hit. He only got more scared as he got older too. The pinnacle of his talking up a fight and then abject terror once he got in the ring was the Haye fight. It's a shame we won't see him getting sparked again.

A Olympic boxing champion, he promised a lot but delivered very little I have never seen anybody
so scared in a boxing ring in my life.
Harrison was a good talker he made a lot of money, just by turning pro that's what being a Olympic
    boxing champ gets you.
I have seen worse Richard Dunn, Jack Bowdell, they were bloody awful.

His loss to Dominick Guinn was funny, Guinn was kind of like the American version of him with a chin. A guy who seemingly had all the talent and physicality you could ask for but just didn't want to know in there.

Audley Harrison turned pro at age 30, what did you guys honestly expect? Sure he won a gold medal, he was fighting teenagers ffs!!!! Audley had the size to do well, he just got to boxing too late and couldn't handle himself defensively.

To me Harrison isn't the biggest bust in British boxing, in my opinion that honor goes to either Naz or Haye. Both had the talent and the aura about them to really shake things up in boxing, but as soon as they met resistance they took their ball and went home. They had the skills on the mic and in the ring to accomplish a few things, but neither had the heart to. Sure Haye won A heavyweight belt, but surely he could have done more had he stayed active. And Naz, Jesus, what a little pussy that fat fuck was, gets his ass beat once....ONCE and quits....pussy

As much as I take the piss out of Audley, this isn't nice to hear. Hope he's ok though and does stay well clear of the boxing ring.
