He looks like someone who is getting sober and has been humbled by the train wreck his life had but is being given a second chance. I see it with substance abusers all the time.

Maybe the term weather is a euphemism for hanging with the wrong crowd.

He definitely sounds newly 'sober'. Be it substance or otherwise who knows. Not sure about last week and not sure about next week but in the moment he gives off that indifferent and bit exhausted attitude. But the whole breaking cycles and uprooting family for a new State is telling. I might be missing something but it looks like he also scrubbed his social media of the last year or so. He had a vid up last month where he was clearly three sheets to the wind just a mess. Had no idea he and his brother had some sort of falling out. He sounds more defensive and positive talking about Spence than his brother. It's odd the whole wbc coddling approach playing this mystery about the situation though. This big ol hush campaign as to why the 800+ days out. Benavidez put something up his nose and it was stripville right off. Cuadras had something similar after a failed test. wbc made a public display of how "nurturing and supportive" they were as he entered treatment. Like him talking about return before years end but the clock is ticking.

Little more dry heat vs Florida with that boggy soggy humidity. And you're more likely to hit a random armadillo or deer crossing a road in Texas rather than a fat alligator .

Safe to say those over 800 days away nor the coddling of the wbc did little to resolve his long lasting "mental wellness" concerns. Audio of him floating around drunk off his arse trying to get paid to be a commentator. This is a middleweight champion. Made for lots of laughs for some but this is not going to end well. If anything, the fact he's allowed to remain on top will in a way only reinforce some of the spiraling imo.
