I'm thinking of buy my wife, a Kindle fire hd for Christmas as she love books and a little bit of surfing
the net. What the pros and cons, any advice.

pros you can surf the net and play music and games the cons are i don't think the screen is as good as a normal kindle so reading outside in bright light like you can with a normal book only kindle might not be possible... but I could be wrong as I have not used one so you might need someone else to confirm.

there is also something in the back of my mind that there was some kinda problems with the HD version but I can't remember for the life of me what it was... google it
