Default Michael Moorer supposedly told Team Floyd to test Pacman

I'm hearing these rumors on other boxing sites that Michael Moorer, who used to work with Pacman and Roach, and who's from Michigan, that when he met FLoyd Sr. in Michigan to test Pacman because he knew what was up.

I don't know how legitimate the source is, but this rumor was on a few other boxing websites.

So does anyone here knows about this?

Havent heard that and I dont know how much I would buy into it because more than likely if Moorer was let go he is going to be scorned and looking to nail team pac at whatever the cost would be, probably even lie

I would have to see a real reputable source bring this to life before I buy in

If any of this is true then michael moorer is a bitch. Yea i know he could beat my ass but i'm calling him one anyway. He had no problem with pac juicin up when they were paying his check. You sat aside and let cotto and hatton be seriously injured in a fight they didn't have a chance in. So don't bible up all the sudden and want to help floyd. You looked, smiled, in thier face and now cause of YOUR lack of people skills you sell your boy out ?? Whatever i guess floyd fans would look at it as a good thing. I will say this if pac did use and that helped him recently then i don't blame him for backing out and trying to blame it on floyd. The old norm pac would get his ass beat. Not necessarily from skill but those last couple of fights would be a huge difference from facing floyd legal. I'm one of the few that think floyd would beat him either way.

This coming from a man who uses Scoop Malinowski as a source.

hahaha that was a source from a writer who got the information from Top Rank, so you dont like the guy but its a fucking source.

All I want to see is this so called rumour have someone from the boxing world confirm this, hell even Ellebare or Floyd Snr would have my eyebrows raised.

There's going to be endless things like this over the next few months/years. It's a certainty at some point in the future that there'll be splits in the Pacneedle camp, fallings out over money etc., and then we'll get a lot more of this kind of thing. It's only hearsay and innuendo but it'll gradually destroy what reputation the Needle has left.

Here's another good one from a respected boixing journalist :

This isn't some issue that just came about. It has been a part of the contract negotiations for weeks. According to a source familiar with the talks, Pacquiao's representatives asked what penalties Pacquiao would face if he tested dirty, and also if a dirty test result could be kept secret so that the integrity of the fight wouldn't be ruined in the public eye.
Those are disturbing requests. It could just be due diligence on the part of the attorneys negotiating the contract or it could be that Pacquiao has something to hide. The only way to clear up the matter is to agree to the testing. Mayweather has agreed to undergo the same procedures, putting more pressure on Pacquiao.

Floyd Mayweather's request for Manny Pacquiao to be drug tested is matter of boxing ethics

Even if the "rumor" is true and Moorer said that, he has a reason to be bitter and wish ill will against Roach. I would take whatever Moorer says with a grain of salt. That is of course if he did say anything at all. I guess what I'm saying is I wouldn't trust Moorer's word in this case.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

I wouldn't trust Moore neither on that one and for the moment, Pacman's just suspect, not incriminated. BEside, to me it is still B'S rumors and as long as there is no source for that, it is not reliable.

There is no smoke without fire, it must be a rumour in boxing circles and must have been true.

This is the kind of thing you would see in the Enquirer magazine.

if moorer said this then i would think there must be some truth it, surley he wouldnt have known how the pac camp would react and thus making themselves look guilty, for all moorer knew pac could have just took the tests and proved himself clean

Did Moorer get the boot from the Wild Card?
