Does he clean it out? Who are the guys he would most have to worry about?

It doesn't seem like he'll stay there but at the same time he looked like a pretty solid sized 205 pounder. Not to mention he's a bad ass. He's quickly become my favorite fighter, I'm a boxing fan first and foremost so striking's what I'm interested in and his is so good. Also one of the most relaxed fighters I've ever seen, reminds me almost of James Toney in how relaxed he is.

I like silva but its going to be a tough task to clean out the 205. I would love to see silva vs silva at 205. Wanderlei vs Anderson would be huge. Silva definitly has more to worry about in 205 than 185.

    Jackson
    Liddell
Lyota Machida(huge and toughest for silva)
Griffin (his the champ now but i doubt for long)

Silva can strike and submit but I can see jackson just slamming him around once he gets a hold of him. and if liddel catches him first his going to get sparked. Machida is the one I highly doubt he will beat. Griffin is always underestimate but the guy is a strong mofo, he'll keep coming.

but one i really want is silva vs silva.

I think he beats Rampage, Silva looks like he's pretty strong at 205, but I agree Machida would be a tough fight from what I've seen of Machida.

I think he would beat Rampage, Silva and Griffin. But I doubt Rampage fights for a while since he seems to have some mental issues.

Shogun, imo would be his biggest test. I would love to see that. Silva would probably want to keep it standing and get Shogun in the clinch but if it goes to the ground Silva but has been caught before famously by Chonan and Shogun is so aggressive that I don't think it's a good style matchup. Also, Machida is part of Black House with Silva and the Nogs, I doubt they would ever fight they are great friends.

It's moot though because Silva swears up and down he's staying at 185.

I think he will fit in the mix at 205 but dominate not a chance in hell he will just be another great fighter.

185lbs is weak sliva and Hernderson aside i know Bisping looks an animal at the weight and a couple of others but not ready.

205 is just one of those weights were everyone can beat everyone.

    Shogun
    Liddell
    Griffin
    Silva
    Machida
    Jackson

Those are all great great fighters well capable of taking each other out.

The most stacked division in MMA history.

Agree with pretty much all that, allthough a fit Shogun who should b going into his prime i'd pick as the most dangerous of the bunch, not sure we'll ever get that fighter with the injury problems he's got,Evans proberbly deserves a mention in there also.

Liddell just doesnt have the punch resistance anymore to hang with a stricker like Silva.

i really think he is capable of doing itbut the most trouble he will have in my eyes ismachida(and a couple others) that guy just picks his shots and movesnever stops really he is really allusive many dont like to see him fight because he is so allusivei like to see him fight at times but i cant deny he has skillsbut just imagine if he did run threw the division that would beCRAZY lol but he said he is moving back down to 185
