Wins over Fisher, Griffin, Franca and an upcoming fight with Sherk. He has one SD loss to Maynard. Outside of Florian and with a win over Sherk he has to be the #1 contender at 155...thoughts

yeah, but he'd get crushed.I can't see him getting by Stevenson, Lauzon, Huerta, or Florian, let alone sherk and then penn.

Well don't judge him too harshly by his loss to Maynard. Did you see that MTV special "I'm An MMA Fighter" or some such? They chronicled him and another fighter (or two can't remember) he was training for that fight while he was planning his wedding and he was totally distracted. To me it was obvious he was going to lose unless he was going to face some slouch. Not making excuses, as it was completely his fault for not separating those two things; much as if a fighter didn't take his training or nutrition seriously before a fight. Hopefully he learned his lesson from that.

I didn't watch the Maynard fight but I've always been impressed when I've watched this guy. Very workman like and seems well rounded. I don't know if I'm going to pick him over Sherk but if he wins that fight I think he deserves a title shot. I think I would pick him over Lauzon and have him as a push against Huerta. I think he could watch the Florian fight and have a good game plan for Roger...Not sure but even though Roger is deciding to go into acting I believe he still has one fight left on his contract.
