I wonder if I can have a moment of your time, Rahman. Is your name Jax? Or is that just the name of the fella in the picture that has a vagina for lips? I fear I may have gone too far with that one already, but I'm gonna press on anyway.
You pick a most unremarkable boxer to back.
You choose to represent and defend one of the worst boxers to ever grace the sport.
You put your faith in a fighter who has exactly one chance of winning every fight he takes. A lucky right hand.
Hasim is a guy that would already have been long since forgotten were it not for a fluke one night when he accidently knocked out Lennox Lewis. Sadly, because of that accident, it's impossible to let him die off gracefully like he should have. He will always be remembered EXACTLY the same way Buster Douglas will be remembered. Not as a good fighter or a skilled boxer. But rather as a guy who was in the right place at the right time for one night in his mundane career.
Did you happen to see the rematch? Yknow, the one where Lennox actually showed up to fight? Did you happen to see the right hand he hit your beloved fighter with?
Yeah, but Rahman's great alright.
Anyway, I saw you had a thread going about Rahman and Tyson, and while I certainly felt like chiming in on the absurdity of that particular matchup I didn't want to get lost in the myriad of posts that were already there. So here's a post titled after you and your idol so that theres no chance of you missing it.
We all gotta have our favorites. And you choose Rahman. So I just wanted to tell you what I personally thought and ask you to maybe expound a bit and convince me of why you think he's worth mention.
