Nice easy fight to make a lot of money and give him a win going into the Mayweather fight which'll help PPV numbers with that fight too. Is this going to be on May 5th?

I think it's classy of Oscar to throw Forbes a bone after Golden Boy Promotions shafted him so royally against D-Hop. It'll be a nice payday for Forbes but, unfortunately for him, an early night.

Now, can Oscar get down to 135 when he's done with Forbes and throw Jose Armando Santa Cruz a bone after he was so royally screwed over by GBP against Casamayor??

Oscar has given us a lot of great fights and was good for the sport but the day he decided to become a promoter is the day he should have retiered.

Maybe once Oscar is done with all that, he can do the real classy thing and finally give Ike Quartey the rematch he's deserved for 9 years.

I hope so too.. It'll serve him right... The name Golded Turd Promotions should be more fitting of a company where the CEO puts himself in a fight where the only point of the matchup is to have him in the ring with something that hits back more times than his heavy bag...

I hope he gets KTFO and Mayweather decided to fight Cotto instead..

2008 should be a cracking year for matchups.. Not poo poo fillers..

His only saviour is the fact he's paid his dues over the years and deserves to widdle away his old age however he likes, inside the ring or out.... Still, should we have to be spectators for it?

    Thats insane..

I thought having forbes meet him at 147 was murder..

But a fekkin catch weight.. 150? .. Thats just stupid..

Hes got to actually be able to make 147 eventually so why not make a head start?

Could hurt i suppose but better to know his body cant take it and fight a lesser opponent and not sacrifice his shot against floyd

I hope he takes this fight, Blows him out in a round.. so goes into a welterweight bout with floyd with no rounds under his belt..

Is weight drained cos he hasnt even made 147 previous to the fight and gets the turnbuckle treatment from floyd Lol
