Default Roberto Duran - How strong was he!

Just watched Duran vs Barkley - and Barkley literally looks the size of Froch & Kessler and yet Duran is taking his shots, matching him for strenght and knocking him down in the 11th - AND he is still slipping Barkleys shots to a large degree! Unbelievable!

    P.s. WHAT A FIGHT

Arguably the best lightweight that ever lived and a top welter. Underrated as a boxer and technician. Was pretty much unbeatable for 13 years, defended his lightweight title a dozen times, handed Leonard his first defeat and reached a pinnacle of 71 and 1 with 56 knockouts. He had great footwork along with head movement, could feint and counter with pin point accuracy, remain in punching position and slip shots. A complete fighter imo.

It really is @walrus. I'd give my left nut for a time machine to match him against the likes of Benny Leonard and Armstrong @135.

I'd love to see him destroy everyone between 130 and 147 today and yes that means Floyd too!

He was on a beastly level in terms of strength.. I once heard that he got drunk and knocked out a cow.. True or not, it was obvious to see what a brute he was by watching him against much bigger men.. He was like another Homicide Hank..

Oh BTW about that Duran-Mosley thing at LW.. LMFAO ya seriously putting Mosley in the same sentence? Mosley at LW is so overrated, always about could've, would've, but never fought anyone close to his level.

Mosley doesn't have the skills, in-fighting ability, nor the Boxing IQ to hang with a smart maniac like Duran for 12 rounds..

a true great. When I watch him fight I still get goose bumps still, my favorite fighter of all time

Legend has it Duran knocked out a horse and I do not mean Carl Froch.

Everyone says this about the horse.

If you were walking through the country and saw some little pissed bloke walk up to a grazing horse and just punch it in the head for no reason would you not think "you fucking twat!" Rather than be impressed by it?
