I don't see how one builds a credible career after this? But Wlad did it. Got his ass knocked out by Sanders, Purity and Brewster.

I'd be happy to have him around at British level for the rest of his career
He's still worth watching, a fighter that offers a ko either way is
And there's a lot of weekends in a year to fill with interesting fights
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
It's a shame because he did look quite promising for a while before the Thompson fights. Very difficult to see where he goes from here though.
If he does continue he needs to get himself a decent trainer who can teach him how to use his jab properly at the very least. He's a huge guy and he can punch, but he just paws with his jab when he could be using it effectively to keep people off him. There is no deterrent to stop a guy setting his feet and letting bombs go.
I think he's weak psychologically as well. For such a huge guy he's very tentative and fights like he's more worried about being hit than he is about doing his opponent any damage.
He's clearly never getting anywhere near a world title and, at best, Joshua's people might consider a fight with Price purely to clean up at British level, but that certainly wouldn't end well for him.
No, I wanna see him build himself back up and get upset KO'd again
David Lemieux = Future MW Champ and P4P King
Well, with all due respect, his opponent appears to be no slouch. Unbeaten and has done away with mid-tier guys with good form. Not all blow outs, but he has racked up several wins- fast hands, a bit of a chin, very mobile and as we can tell by the results, good ko power.
Erkan Tepper. Let's see more of him!

I don't have a thing against Price except he can't take a punch, for a heavyweight that's a serious problem. Punching power and taking big shots are what the heavyweights are all about. Fighters can get by without punching power, but a heavyweight without a chin is screwed. I think Price should get out of the ring.
If he can't bring himself to get out of boxing there are other things he could do to stay in boxing.

Someone said he is the new enzo macarenelli but he was a world champ with multiple defences. He's more like the new Audley but again Audley was a euro champ and world title challenger. Doesn't look like price will make it that far. He has zero confidence in the ring
That said wvlad wasn't oozing with confidence and even his own brother thought he should quit after his 3rd ko loss but wvlad went on to be one of the most dominant champs in heavyweight history. So there can still be hope for David. Very unlikely and a good job he wasn't thrown to Joshua. After careful rebuilding I can see the same thing happening in a couple years
Price switched trainers. BAD MOVE! He was "supposed" to have Tommy Brooks, and he was doing well with Brooks. But he switched Brooks, and he was winning with Brooks. Even though he took a knockdown with Brooks, he had the conditioning to get back up and win.
Price is just a good example of good talent with no true backing. He needs to decide now on what he needs to do!

He should go try and win the British outright after Joshua or Whyte vacates it.
True, but a decent trainer could teach him some proper defence other than just backing away and pawing his punches with no conviction like he's afraid of being hit. The way he fought Teper, he was asking to be knocked out.
Price is a huge guy with decent power. He doesn't use the advantages he has at all.
Price looks finished and will end getting seriously hurt. He looks like a frightened rabbit when he gets hit and his legs turn to jelly.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Unfortunately you are bang on, he looks gun shy. Its a shame that the present era (started by the Mickey Duffs and continued by Warren) has fighters literally thrown on the scrap heap after a few defeats, and at the same time others get amazing rewards for knocking over stiffs. How many other one on one sports see careers ruined after a few defeats?
Boxing now, especially heavyweights, is a promoter picking his man and backing/hyping/bullshitting him in to a million dollar title fight, investment then pays out. It puts tremendous pressure on the actual fighters, at least Audrey put himself under that pressure and earned a bit more money. Hobson has the Aussie lummox, Fat Mick has Tyson, Jim Evans had Roman Greenberg (whatever happened to him?) Warren had Chisora, Sauerland took a punt on Price, etc. etc. etc.
In the old days we did not stop watching Henry Cooper, Billy Walker, Brian London, Johnny Prescott etc. just because they lost the odd fight!
Looking to the future it would be a crying shame if Joshua became a shot talent because he lost a few, think about it.
Rant over
