Nice profit too
It's only been going just over a year too and only 70 staff.
Will it still be free though
yeah gotta be free as there are a few others that are online that would take over if it wasnt...
good to see a success story... now we just need google to set up there own ebay and i'll be happy.
TBH i think if they'd have waited a year there would have been tons more youtube style sites about and youtube would have died down... maybe they where worried about youtube starting a search engine...who knows because i though youtube was going into debt daily because of all the bandwidth they where using, not sure how true that was
Im pretty sure that the 3 fellas who started Youtube came from the same huge internet giant site, left ...Then started the "tube".
Must have made a fortune between them.
C*nts

will look into it mate as theres quite a few sites now that offer the service might not be practical
nah Smach good for them mate i think putfile was around first and the first to stream files from users ((could be wrong)) but youtube came along and done the idea better by converting to fla on the fly and embedding there links into the vidoe player was a masterstroke
Right im with the Mrs and my bro in law and they've just said that the 3 co founders of youtube set it up with their overdrafts on their credit cards.
Hows ya luck
I just hate it how i can never think of such genius stuff like that.
