I think he has to be top 15
I think he has to be top 15
hard to say... i will say this he could of been top 10 without doubt if he would of continued fighting for about another 3 years and beat everyone he could of.
dont Fuck with the chuck
Just taking at shot at it I would say 25-35...
Somewhere around there.
I think very highly of Floyd as a boxer, but top 15 is too high IMO.
I'll need some more time to compare different fighters and read some more, but I'm guessing right now he's in the 40s.
Top 20, but he'll fight again.
Top 20
But could be higher
Remember reality is an illusion caused by a lack of alcohol .
I wonder when he'll un-retire.
I had thought it was a publicity stunt/negotiating ploy for the rematch with DLH, but the 90 day deadline is getting pretty close and GBP says the Sept 20 date is scrapped and they're doing a Sept 13 PPV card instead.
I say Cotto beats Margarito and then if he fights DLH in December and wins.
HBO will offer a huge payday at a bored Mayweather, who misses the attention and realizes he's not as popular as he had hoped, and comes back.
top 20

I'm thinking around 30ish, talent wise he's up in my top 5, but his competition drops him down on my list.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
I was thinking the same thing. Yes he was a great fighters and yes he was skilled but there have been a lot more guys who accomplished more then he did. Level of competition, era they reigned and so on that deserve the nod above Floyd. There are also a lot of guys that were more skilled then Floyd (Sorry all you PBF fans).
A deffo top 20 for me at this stage, but I think as with any of the greats, legendary status becomes clearer to view & assess in retrospect, say at least a 5 to 10 year period after there last fight.....

A lot of boxing promoters couldn't match the cheeks of their buttocks. Mickey Duff..
Top 20-25's....But if he sticks around and takes out Cotta he'll shoot right up if you ask me.
I think Mayweather needs to learn he doesn't decide how good he is.
We do.
