    Default Thoughts on UFC87??

GSP looked awsome!! Considering Fitch was the No.2 contender and unbeaten 4 5 years or something a BJJ black belt! GSP made him look very ordinery! Penn is kidding himself if he thinks he'll beat him! GSP will beat him more convinsingly than last time, then we wont have 2 hear all this P4P best crap from the delusional Penn fans! GSP is going 2 have 2 move 2 MW 2 get himself a decent challange, cos nobody can touch him at WW! Credit 2 Fitch though,he showed a lot of heart in there and took a beating that would of stopped most!

Lesner looked good, considering its his 3rd MMA fight, and he was fighting a genuine Top 10 class HW,he was completly dominant! He didn't seem 2 know what 2 do 2 finish the fight, but it is only his 3rd fight,im sure it will come.Lesner is now a genuine threat 2 all but the Elite HWs,the UFC HW div is that weak atm though I can see Lesner getting fast tracked a title shot, and Nog is Lesners worst nightmare! I'd like 2 see Lesner Vs Kongo the monster Striker V the monster Wrestler!

i got GSP third in mma p4p ranking, under silva and fedor.

BJ penn is close by, you can not deny BJ his one of the best p4p fighters out there.

Brock Lesnar looked good. he still has some things to work on but imo his going to be a champ in the future. Atleast I hope so.

The GSP fight was predictable, Fitch is solid but what does he do better than GSP?

    Lesnar's just freaking massive.

Why not GSP-Penn 2? its not like GSP convincingly beat him last time or anything.

I'd be a little pissed if I was a welter and penn got a shot ujst because he wanted one. He should have to fight an eliminator, IMO. Get by koscheck or whoever, then get your shot.

Iv'e got GSP 2nd on my P4P list,I think his resume is much better than Silvas,i'd like 2 see both move up and fight naturaly bigger men.Fedor,Randy,Penn,Wand,Sakuraba,Royce, most the HWs lots more who I wont name all have.Boxers are doing it all the time, both are huge at there weight class lets see them move up!

    I had faith in GSP

I actually had said he was a competitor for the No.1 P4P, the only one who could decisively keep him off it is Silva.

I think GSP could have stopped Fitch in the 1st and 3rd round but either Fitch is a great survivor or GSP isnt a great finisher.

Brock did well to keep Herring down. Not as explosive as youd expect but smart tactic from Brock using his weight and size just to stop Herring from working . If he does that in his next fight though he wont stay an attraction .

Florian showed he was a level above Huerta . The 3rd round particulary he was a different class, better on the ground and on their feet. Huerta can comeback cuz although he was clearly beaten, he wasnt dominated

King Kong had nothing to beat. Didnt thunk UFC did those types of fights but they obviously gave him a " gimme "

kudos to kenflo for beating huerta soundly. ufc is building up huerta as the next poster boy of mma.
