Tried and true exercise. We do 20 mins of skipping rope for a warm up before muay thai, I'm a big tree-trunk legged gorilla but it's amazing what it does for your footwork and leg strength.

I never thought as a kid that jumping rope was cool. But now I wish I would have taken it more seriously. Ray Robinson defiantly puts style to it.

It's 130 am where I'm at and I want to go to the gym because of this video. Where's my rope?

Well for me there is a lot of stopping and starting in there because I get it caught in my legs, I'm not the most graceful with that. I'm getting better slowly haha

Many years ago I used to skip rope every day, and it is real tough on the legs, but after a 20 or 30 minute session my upper arms would be on fire.
It can be a little boring, especially if you are alone, and watching a clock only makes it worse, so I used to just trance out and count skips.
Try it sometime, it might help take your mind off the time, just close your eyes and count the skips.
After you can reach a certain number of skips everyday (it will be in the thousands), then go back to the clock and see how fast you can get to that number. It worked for me.
    Music helps too.

This is a good video of 50 types of skipping.

I like the way Floyd uses the whole gym when he skips, probably helps a lot with the boredom. Of course, it probably helps when you have your own pussy posse oohing and aahing at every move you make, too. Lol
