Default Your top 5 most boring fighters ... currently

1.Miguel Vazquez- he's the biggest pussy mexican ive seen.. most mexicans fight like men but he fights like a pansy..

2.Andre Ward- too much hugging and I cant stand that shit.. dont try to convince me that he is some master boxer because he is not.

3.Richard Abril- he looks like a rat and fights like a weasel with his girly piddy pats..

4.Hopkins- he's just boring and im not spending money to watch him.. bernard hopkins fights are strictly for replays lol..

    5. Bradley- very sloppy style... I aint into that kind of shit.. I like the good fighters..

    Honorable mention: Karim Mayfield

Can't have Bradley now man, he made a point of having pure battles recently.

    1 Ward
    2 Rigondeaux
    3 Malik Scott
4 Wlad (Purely because he never fights anyone who could challenge him)
    5 DeGale
    You say tomato,

I see your reasoning... but this is hardly Deontay's fault, is it?
The other guys on the list are downright boring... going out of their way to ruin what could be good fights.
But Wilder just hasn't had anyone in front of him willing to put up a decent fight.

Seems unfair to put him on that list.

We can knock on wilder's resume but he's certainly not boring.. I dont know how he can be regarded as one.

Disagree about Bradley, I don't particularly like him but he comes to a fight with dedication. He has come to grow on me. Not my favorite fighter but I don't find him boring.
Hopkins who I couldn't stand for many years has grown on me. His style is so bad I like it. At least you know what you'll get with Hopkins. The passes he gets from the refs are so blatantly obvious it's disgusting it's become entertaining.

Otherwise I agree with what you said. I try to like Andre Ward but he makes it difficult to do. Can't stand watching him fight but of course I still do. Your omission of Wlad is quasi criminal. Wlad is bad for boxing. No one gives a shit about the heavyweights and he is a big reason why.

I dunno dude, I really don't think it is. If a guy goes into a fight with percieved heavy odds what do people say? Oh man he has big balls, gutsy move by him. What a warrior. They don't say that about the promoter or santioning bodies behind the scenes counting the bank. The owness falls to the fighter be it high praise-respect or be it yet another predictable and matter of time steamroll job he faces and says in interviews he is fine with that and he doesn't care. I just don't find what Wilder has shown "exciting" but more clock managment to an end game. We don't ask if or how...we ask when and its not a matter of him proving he is all that tested or well rounded but just doing what we all fully expected going in. Big deal. The line of heavyweights stacking records and fans being all is endless. It's boring.. well maybe next time he'll actually face adversity or take a punch or step up. I have never seen a heavyweight waste so much time or be afforded so much media attention knocking over stunt men who were brought in to do one thing..lose. His celebrations are more exhilarating in some cases than his matches. There is 'fault' to go around but it falls at a fighters feet to me. I honestly find Jennings more "exciting" in that I know he can fight off the ropes, he can get off the canvas and adjust his game and rain in combinations. When Wilder is in a fight, or even takes a clean punch from a pissed off live foe, then I'll sit up straight and pull up a chair. I don't hate the dude just want more and less tap dancing.

    Most exciting:
    Manny
Victor Ortiz (say what ya want, but he gives you something to see--- either way!)
Mayweather (just to see the master perform... but he can have some mundane fights)
    Donaire
    Bryant Jennings
    Bigger man George, bigger punch!

Good call, you had the balls to add Ortiz. I would have done the same if it crossed my mind. Always like the guy, still hoping we have not seen the last of him celebrating in the ring. I think he and Donaire are suffering the same hearts not into syndrome.

I don't find fighters boring. I find match ups boring. I got no problem with Carlos Molina vs James Kirkland or Kermit Cintron. I like watching Molina try and blunt there offense. But Carlos Molina vs Ishe Smith? Now you making me sleepy. I'll pass on Miguel Vazquez vs average fighters like Marvin Quintero and Daniel Attah. But I got no problem watching Vazquez school and take the 0 of over hyped prospects like Mercito Gesta and Leonardo Zappavigna
