Bute may want to fight Bika to see what he has left after the smack down from Froch.
Broner is the real deal and I would love for him to fight out best lightweight and that is not Gavin Rees.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I'm looking forward to the Broner fight to be honest. I'm just hoping Rees does well enough so that Broner has to show us what he's got. At least both of them have managed to stay uninjured for this fight. This is the first main event of the year that's been televised by the two big US channels that's survived, right?

Rees is sounding confident, he says hes never been stopped though...But i swear Kotelnyk stopped him?
Rees has literally every single thing stacked against him in this fight. He doesn't have one advantage going into it. It'll be another Litzau blow-out. This is the true definition of a stay-busy fight. No risk, while waiting for the result from Burns-Vasquez.
To be honest, I think the whole card could end up being mismatches. I hope I'm wrong. The best fight IMO is Escobedo-Cherry.

Thoughts on that?HBO will unveil a makeover to its "World Championship Boxing" theme music, graphics, logo and lighting. (Also, the iconic theme to its "Boxing After Dark" series will be no more when HBO makes a change to that, too, for the next edition of that show.)
The stage is set for you Broner haters. He's huge like this is some big surprise. Tell me at what weight area did he fight in earlier in his career? And who of all these threats to Broner have offered him a fight? I can wait..... This fodder of discrediting an opponent because you hate his challenge gets a little long in the tooth. Many of you make a federal case of the Ponce fight then who’s to say it doesn’t happen here?
Hey, its fights. I'm in. Didn't realize this card was coming really as its been a hectic week. Bika is always fun. I'm not so much pissing on the Broner "showcase" aka a day at the batting cages as I am Demetrius f'kn Hopkins being on yet another major HBO card Go figure...pays to have connections. Broner shut his mouth and went to work against DeMarco...I respected that display. That said hes still a cheap gimmick and concerned more about being a reality star. HBO will def spoon feed him and hope to continue the Mayweather like horseshit. Honestly his punchlines are not even that good, he needs a new writer, and they sure as Hell shouldn't give him anymore on air time in between big fights to "rap" in the ring. That was horrible.
@Spicoli -
I plan on watching the 2 undercard fights, and changing channels when the main event comes on. The only thing i'm interested in seeing is whether or not Boner makes the Lightweight limit for this fight, I bet he doesn't and this won't be a title fight Saturday night.
Check the weigh-in results friday.
These fights start tomorrow night @9:00 PM ET on HBO here in the States/Canada, and @ around 2:00 AM Sunday for you lot in the UK/Europe.
At Atlantic City, N.J. (HBO): Adrien Broner vs. Gavin Rees, 12 rounds, for Broner's WBC lightweight title; Sakio Bika vs. Nikola Sjekloca, 12 rounds, WBC super middleweight eliminator; Demetrius Hopkins vs. Charles Whittaker, 12 rounds, junior middleweights.
cheers
-Heads up, it looks like HBO isn't going to air this card until 10:30 PM ET or about 2 hours from now, first we get a wrenching gutful of Jay-z's ugly, skanky, 'ho, 'Bounce'. Just guessing, chances are, the only undercard fight that will be shown will be Sakio Bika vs. Nikola Sjekloca.
cheers
