Isn't Stieglitz a champion, so why would he need a warm up against Froch?

Because he's fighting weber as a tune up befor Kessler due to the postponement, so why not fight froch

1. Froch is not going to take a fight only 4 weeks after fighting Ward

2. Stieglitz would get knocked out. Not really the sort of 'tune up' you want.

Stieglitz and Kessler was supposed to happen on the same date as the Bute v. Johnson fight in a split feed on Showtime. Kessler backed out with another injury. Now, Kessler is facing Stieglitz in Denmark in April. Froch will likely fight Bute in April and then again in the end of the Summer/early Fall. Maybe the winner will face Kessler in Fall 2012 or Winter 2012.
