Default Miguel Berchelt v Jeremia Nakathila ESPN tonight

Not sure about catching this live as espn is on a run of main events airing at or near Midnight . But want to see how Berchelt returns after being on the wrong end of the KOTY v Oscar Valdez last time out. Last saw Nakathila waltzing with Shakur Stevenson over 12 rounds last year. Both of these guys can have some flat feet and rigid legs so hopefully it boils over into a firefight.

Berchelt is one of my favourite fighters. Glad he is back and hope he wins. He is a destroyer.

He's def all business mate. He'll get his opportunity to war as it goes but should respect the right hand of Nakathila early.

Not much undercard at all. Hopefully they get right to main and don't stretch it out!

Berchelt is so clearly ruined and it makes me sad because there is no way they could get through a camp without seeing it. Stumbling, slow, no explosiveness. And they’re pushing his corpse out there to get paid. Truly sad

Ref stopped it and it’s a good call. His people need to tell him to retire

That was very sad watching a shot Berchelt getting battered brutally by Nakathila. He was slow, missing a lot, and getting hit far too much.

Nakathila is a good boxer who as spicoli said has a beautiful right cross. Very hard, fast and accurate right hand that busted up Berchelt face.

Like any brave former champion Berchelt tried to rally in round 5 after being put down with a jab in round 3. However Nakathila took the attack and fired back even harder to retire Berchelt.

The fight with Valdez and the 13 month inactivity probably has finished Berchelt at the top level. Time to retire.

That was a mix of being shocked and almost sad to watch such a total thrashing! I thought the Nakathila right would be a threat but really never envisioned that battering of Berchelt. He looked so brittle so early on and cannot see a road back to any top form. Not sure where Nakathila lands going forward but staying at a now stacked 135 has to be tempting and like to see it.
