I have been experiencing a swelling around the ring finger on my power hand. No matter what I do it swells. Is it possible I have some type of break or weak knuckles of some sort? what would be the best method on healing it? doctor visit?

rest, ice. Chances are it's just bruising, if the pain/swelling doesn't go down have the dr. check it out.

ye thats what i thought. but it has been going on for years now. when i was young i punched a hole in the wall and hit the stud. the ring and pinky knuckles actually bent around the stud

Sounds like youve damaged the Mysolin sheaf, if so theres not a lot you can do. Then again the trouble could be in the elbow through shock. Best get a good Osteopath to have a look

elbow? i had a bad cut at the base of my tricep that caused nerve damage in my elbow. could that be related?
