Mikey is too small as well IMO. but credit to him that he really wants the fight. Crawford's frame is smaller than Spence, but Height , reach etc. , there isn't a lot in it. I just feel that Spence is probably big enough to go to LMW and dominate, and maybe even to MW eventually. That's why I think he may be able to impose his natural strength advantage on Crawford.
Having said that , Crawford is a thing of Boxing Beauty and maybe he can overcome that. I kinda hope he does. I like Spence, but would love to see class like Crawford go onto great things.
Former Undisputed 4 belt Prediction champion. Still P4P and People’s Champion.
There's something unnerving about Spence, he looks all bashful with a permanent smile on his boat but I constantly expect him to whip out a shooter and shout "gimme the motherfuckin loot!"
I'm sure Arum and the rest of 'em were thinking they're about to get turned over here.

3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I find it interesting that Spence and Haymon hesitantly only agreed to 10 weeks of VADA testing and only for it to start from Jan-5th.
Why couldn't they have started testing in Nov? I'm not accusing Spence of anything, but he already has every advantage, it's not a good look to be limiting testing time and we it can start from.

After watching the Pedraza fight I am convinced everything Mikey says about Loma is true, that the matrix stuff only works if a fighter isn’t talented enough to turn with him. But I don’t know if Mikey understands how good Loma is. Similar to how many don’t know how good GGG is, power power power, that jab tho.
I just want Mikey to come out of this undamaged so Spence and Mikey can be the stars they need to be to make the fights we’re all hoping for.
Spence/Crawford
Mikey/Loma
This is stuff we’ll rewatch 15 years from now
I think yourself and I have been some of the biggest Mikey backers on this site in recent times. I still feel Mikey beats Loma. But I agree, who knows what a devastating loss to Spence could do to Mikey? Would he still be the same? Does it diminish a future Loma fight?
I will say tho that I'm interested to see a Loma/ Commey fight. I think Commey is fighting for the vacant belt on ESPN, so that would lead nicely into a Loma clash.

That would irk me just because I’m tired of seeing great fighters fight for fake belts. It’s become the norm. We all know that’s Mikey’s belt no matter who they wrap it around. Same as all AJs belts are Fury’s same as all Canelo’s belts are Golovkin’s(I suppose that is a redeeming quality of the Fielding fight, two men aren’t fighting for GGGs belts) same as same as same as
Especially after the last two Loma fights, I’m even more convinced that Miley beats Loma. Mikey is an elite fighter and is just too big.
That’s what I’m afraid of. It’s such a good fight to be made but I’m not at all convinced that it will ever happen. A big reason is that Mikey is barely a lightweight anymore and the longer it takes to make, the more unlikely he will be to be able to make the weight limit.
It was refreshing to hear Loma mention Garcia and possibility for a fight. But I'm of the mind of being more concerned about the damage Mikey takes with Spence, the whole weight bouncing around, and still feel it's unnecessary in attempt to find the huge stardom and really short term thinking. Good to see Commey get his shot and he makes for a decent match for either Mikey or Loma. Can't knock Loma for cleaning house vs mandatories or division champs. Fact is boxing is stuffed with 'fake' trinkets and the big names pick them up, pose for a pic and then drop them off like business cards.
I like Commey, and I think his size and style could present Loma with another difficult task. In saying that I can also see the scenario where Loma pokes holes all through it.
For me the ideal situation would have been for Mikey to face Commey, then unify with Loma, then step up to face the WBSS 140 winner, even before 147/ Spence comes near the equation. There's plenty of work at 147 for Spence as it is.

David Benavidez vs J'Leon Love will be on the Spence-Garcia card.
Interesting match-up, Love will be a good test for Benavidez.
