Default Jaime Munguia v Jimmy Kelly on DAZN

Munguia getting another showcase type fight tonight. Not sure what the holdup is with Oscar letting this kid wear some big boy pants and finally stepping up but this isn't it. Munguia has shown some improvement sure but he also just swerved aka ducked at least 2 much more qualified fighters in Zhanibek and Carlos Adames to wind up facing fairly unknown unproven Kelly out of the U.K.

40-0 should he win tonight and without slagging too hard it's a test to name 3 of his biggest names. Rosado? Spike O' Sullivan and Liam Smith? Dennis Hogan maybe...and Kelly lost to Liam and Hogan

I don't have DAZN, but that should be fairly entertaining. Munguia rarely gives spectators a boring fight.

Meanwhile, I'll be watching Edgar Berlanga over on ESPN.

I'm not too high on Berlanga, nor was I making too big of a fuss when he was amassing all those 1st round KOs.

I think a much bigger potential star from P.R. is Xander Zayas... and have high hopes for him.

Hopefully Berlanga has come off his Cloud 9 fantasyland of being able to knock out everyone he sees. The last fight wasn't too impressive.

Great minds think alike just said the same. Really hope Zayas heals up quick and get's back in. Kid was genuinely crushed in the video he released announcing fight cancellation.

Damn... yeah. I just saw the vid myself. Xander was tearfully apologizing to everybody for not being able to fight. Seems he caught some viral infection or something.

Ah.. don't be too rough on yourself, Xander. We'll get 'em next time.

Duarte really punches off of the frame well, straight and hard and doesn't neglect the body. Had Bernaldez buzzed in the 1st.

Smart thinking puncher is Duarte and keeps a high guard. Bernaldez getting put into corners now and being touched up! Hurt again to body in 3rd

Bernaldez having a decent start to 4th more committed punching but by second half he's back along ropes and soaking up body shots. Guy has a solid chin and apparently ribs too. Ohhh massive combo rakes Bernaldez in the corner but stays upright. Up and downstairs by Duarte.

Duarte absolutely unloading in 5th and ref getting closer. Guy punches like a Spence as far as putting power combos together but varying them. Not all turned over well though and no not a Spence of course . Corner needs to watch out for their man he's sponging up damage

Bernaldez has some yard dog in him for sure. Trying to answer right back in 6th. Duarte taking a little breather here bit slowed. Late surge at the bell for Duarte. Bernaldez had a semi decent round up to that point.

Oh couple of lowish digs to beltline of Bernaldez and ref ignores them. Bernaldez having a mini resurgence wonder where the gas tank of Duarte is at. He's def off the gas a bit and more choppy with shots. Can make a case Bernaldez took last two rounds but he's in a huge hole this late.

Stabbing jabs beginning of 8th from Duarte snaps head of Bernaldez. Bernaldez hung up on ropes and Duarte goes hard head and body almost goes between ropes and ref waves it off. Eh bit odd timing for me but see it, he had managed to reset and steady. Left to gut to end that combo froze him too and Duarte cleaned up. Nice little scrap
