    Default Pavlik/Martinez weigh-in

    Pavlik and Martinez both made weight at 159.5 lbs.

    Martinez looks like he's on steroids, all the extra weight is muscle. Pavlik looks to be in decent shape, a little soft, but no more than usual.

    This should be a good fight. I just think Pavlik is too big for Martinez though and will bust him up down the stretch. I can see Pavlik really making a statement. I'm sure Martinez will have his moments, but Pavlik will hit him hard and often and he will slow down and his moments will become fewer and farther between.

    Man it pains me to say this bout the youngstown boy....but i really see martinez beating him. Short of being robbed again i see him being to fast and too strong. I actually hope kelly does well though.

    I've been a Kelly Pavlik fan for quite a few years, and im still rooting for him. And im picking him to win, if Antonio Margarito can bust up Sergio Martinez with his pressure.

    Then Kelly Pavlik has a shot aswell, i know that fight was along time ago, but i still think that fight has somewhat of a blueprint.

    I think Pavlik has a shot if he can catch Martinez early on but i think that's highly unlikely. I see Martinez will moving away from Pavlik's right hand, figuring out Kelly's rhythm and then counter him with ease. Williams superior foot speed enabled him to apply more pressure then the flat footed Pavlik will be able too.

    Current odds (William Hill)

    Pavlik = -200 = 1/2
    Martinez = +150 = 3/2
    Draw = +2500 = 25/1

    Lets go Martinez !

    This should be a good fight.

    I see Martinez's movement and speed really giving Pavlik problems.

    But I just hope that Pavlik is not too big for him.

    Which may be the case.

    I think Sergio Martinez can do it though !

    Just gotta move around, pot shot, and frustrate Pavlik.

    WOW! Whats Martinez been taking in the last few months? He's ripped. Havent seen him like that before. When Margarito knocked him out he looked like a little boy now he looks like he is a body builder. Pavlik in comparisson just looks like a big man drained down but once he has rehydrated he will be the much bigger man and I think that will be the difference.

    Sergio looks up for it though in that shape and getting in Kelleys face. Its his big chance. Wish we could see this in England.

    Don't get me wrong kelly has way more than just a shot.....this fight is going to be great either way. And i agree with most here, i know martinez likes it at 154 but man if he can come in this big and ripped 160 might be a great weight for him as well. Fans on both sides should be confident in either guy winning tonight. Like usual i'll sit back and root for both !!
