Nice promo.
Casual fans should take to two undefeated fighters meeting..
Kell is rising to the occasion!
All's lost! Everything's going to shit!
Gotta give it to them they actually managed to make the fight look good
"Two world champions collide"
More like
"Kell brook collides with the canvas"
They sure did!
Boxingfans will be the only nitpicks.
For the Golovkin naysayers...maybe Kell can prove them right ?
All's lost! Everything's going to shit!
Kennedy the Bumkin is his name
How did he reach his fame?
By fighting everyone whose name
Is ranked so low --- oh what a shame!
O Marvin can you please return?
Or what about The Beast?
Even Hopkins, Jones or Hearns
Would surely have a feast!
the Glove Skin gently strokes his chin
And thinks he is the best
But every boxing fan doth know
His reign is just in jest!
Slim! I thought you were sensible.
This just shows you that they will sell a horseshit massacre as quality close fight.
Totally pathetic fight that should not be allowed to happen.
This is the equivalent of Kovalev v Ward being arranged and Ward pulls out and BJS the undefeated middleweight steps up to the challenge. He would have no chance. So why do people think Kell does?
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Kell Brook says he can maintain his speed and bring power to the ring when he steps up to middleweight to fight Gennady Golovkin on 10 September.
Brook, 30, is the IBF welterweight champion and is moving up two weight divisions to take on the Kazakh boxer.
"I'm going to bring the speed up to the middleweight division," Brook said.
"I'm going to bring big power as well. I'm ready for this fight. To be the best you've got to beat the best - it doesn't get any bigger than GGG."
Brook says the bout in London will be "the biggest fight in world boxing" and that he has been "training like a wild horse".
The Briton is unbeaten in 36 fights, while undisputed world middleweight champion Golovkin, 34, has won all 35 of his professional bouts.
"I'm going to be so alive for that night," Brook said.
"No-one has ever got the best out of me. I want to test myself. I know we are going to see the best in me. I'm excited to see what I can do."
He added: "I'm the best welterweight on the planet and no-one seems to want to fight me. GGG is the same in the middleweight division."

Hats off to Kell for taking the fight pity Eubank Jr didn't have the bottle.
Kell being compared to Sugar Ray Robinson?
GGG will smash him into tiny bits.

While I this that this will be a mismatch, I love the balls and old school mentality that Brook is displaying. Shades of the original Sugar Ray, Basilio, Emile Griffith...etc. I'm a GGG fan/believer, but I would be lying if I said there isn't a part of me pulling for Brook yo pull off the upset. If Brook wins, big if, where do you place him on your p4p rankings?
My sentiments as well. We complain that undefeated fighters don't test themselves, now we're complaining about one showing how much balls to step UP to test himself against a MW.....some here complains is untested thus undeserving of P4P status.
Hell, I just wanna see two so-called champs go at it!

I like Brook, and hope he puts in a good showing. However, I imagine if he were to somehow pull off the miracle upset, the happiest and most relieved person on the planet would be none other than Canelo Alvarez. The monkey on his back for having avoided GGG would be off for good.... there would be no need for him to face GGG anymore.... and who knows.... he might even grow some balls and decide to face GGG after all, figuring that if Brook beat him, so can he. Nah..... I'll have to root for GGG. Let Canelo keep marinating.
