According to this, the troubles with Chavez is on going and I am certain Froch will still be hungry to fight. I'd prefer this fight over Chavez, Hopkins is far more deserving. I don't see how it would be PPV in the states though.

I'm a fan of both guys, but an admitted Hop hugger. That being said, this is a bad match up for Hop. Froch has the mentality to make this a physical and fast paced fight and Hop won't be able to keep up at this point. As amazing as Hop is, his physical abilities and stamina are gone. With Ward n Froch at 168 n Kov the man at 175, I don't see much hope for Hop to pick up another title. I would like to see him retire at this point.

True, Hopkins has that ability to stink things up.
Hopkins fights to win instead of entertain which can lead to boring fights. Sometimes Hopkins reminds me more of an auto mechanic that a fighter. Methodical? Yeah!
I'd stay away from Hopkins. Would much rather see Froch vs Chavez.
Froch and Chavez would both be fighting for their country. Better fight for the fans.

Sources have advised boxscene that Hopkins wants to fight again.

Hopkins never won a supermiddle title.

Froch really really wants to fight in Vegas.

Chavez jr is having legal problems with TopRank.

    Ridiculous.

Come on Carl. This cant even be considered a cash out and certainly is no ppv headliner. It also does nothing legacy wise at this point. Froch should just retire before he undermines his entire career. He obviously wants a fight he does not have to get wound up for. Froch took shots at Calzaghe in 08 for fighting Hopkins and then tried to get the fight in 09. They then tried again in 2011 and now its 2015 and the man is 50 and he wants this as his career ender in Vegas?

Just fight your mandatory(Degale) in Nottingham to thank all the homies and call it a day win or lose. And least if you lose its to a young talented upstart poised to enter the fray and it most likely makes a ton more money then Chavez or Hopkins. And should Carl win, that's a nice high note to go out on.

Would depend on the rest of the card.
Would like to see Froch vs Jr, but like most boxing fans, I'll watch.

What's the problem between Arum and Jr?

This more or less sums it up.

That makes sense to you and me, but he wants Vegas. It seems like this fight is for Froch and his beautiful lady. I can understand that.

Yeah but at what cost? I mean I heard Scott Pemberton is unsatisfied with his final loss to Manfredo and wants to make a comeback. Its odd to say the least that he seems more bent out of shape about fighting in Vegas and is looking for the easiest route fight wise to end it all there. If I lived in Nottingham I might be egging his house.

Poor Bob! Lol. He should take what he can get and forget what's gone. Bob has a real vindictive streak in him, of course, you knew that already.
What's your opinion? Is Chavez smarter than he acts, or dislikes being told what to do or who to fight?

In fairness poor Jr. I mean has he really done anything to be mentioned as a "super" opponent for anyone? How does he even deserve 7 figure paydays to begin with?

Froch should try and fight another bum in Vegas or Kessler and then get serious with a fight with De Gale/Grove and retire.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
