Does anyone know if he's fighting again?
I know the fight against Diaz was supposed to be his last but given the controversial nature of the fight maybe they could do it again in LA....

diaz sucks all of the diaz!!!!!!!!!
happy face.
yeah, he should have won against diaz. judging really sucks. erik can still definitely fight as long as he doesn't blow up in weight in between fights. he gets up to 170lbs and have only a few months to meet the weight limit. if he could just keep his weight in the vicinity of being competitive in between fights then he wouldn't fade in the late rounds. erik might be on the decline but is definitely not shot imo.
erik morales is done.....
he's done, at least in the featherweight division. he is not shot as everybody say he is. he is just fighting in the wrong weight class. erik should stay in the lightweight division

Erik Morales gets upto 170lbs?

Yeah,he probably is but only in Tijuana,a local show,a farewell fight. He DEFINITELY should NOT fight. Seeing Morales lose(even though he should have got the decision,it was still a close fight) to someone as limited as David Diaz, even he realised after the fight that he was not the same.
A prime Morales would have crushed someone like David Diaz, who is no better than Ayala, whom I remember Morales putting on one of the greatest boxing performances I've ever seen.
in the first 2 pics, erik has already lost several pounds after he started training but still weighed between 150-160lbs. i couldn't find the pics where he's really bloated. anyhow, imagine having to lose so much weight to trim down to his form in the 3rd pic.Originally Posted by hitmandonny

wOW! That really amazes me, particularily the 1st pic.

I would love to see Erik get a title in the lightweight division.Diaz does not deserve the win.

It was a close fight, but many people think Erik won that one (including me).Originally Posted by Julius Rain
No way, David Diaz is rated no.3 lightweight. He's just a crock.
