No I guess they do not care. lol I have noticed a few idiots are running around holding hands and sad clicking people. They know who they are and so do I. Some of these lamers don't even know who Duran is or if anything have only watched no more than one or two of his fights.
But anyway... We both knew that Duran and Sweet Pea would be inducted, no suprise here.
I guess congrats is in order for the new inductees.

Interesting coincidence that arguably the two greatest lightweights of all-time will go into the hall in the same year. Unfortunately I'm a little too young to have seen Duran, all I've really seen of him are the clips of him getting knocked out cold by Hearns. Hope to check out some of his earlier fights someday.
As for Pernell, best pure boxer of the last 25-30 years in my opinion, but I'm sure plenty of people would disagree with me on that.

P4P good stuff to see legends go into the HOF! More then deserved without a doubt for Lopez, Whittaker and Duran. And boyyy Duran vs Whittaker, what a fight that would of been at leightwieght!

Do yourself a favour and check out as many of Duran's fights as you can.

A tough tough tough hombre, hard as nails and ruthless to match. Possibly the fighter with the most underrated boxing skills of the past 50 years or so.

If you are a real boxing fan, then you must watch Monas de Piedra - a treat not to be missed. If you like SweetPea's boxing skills, I'm sure you will rate Duran's too?
