I think when Froch steps upto world level against the champs he will be found wanting
What makes you say that? Ok he is open to a clipping but who isn't when they throw a punch.
Huge Punch and a granite chin.
World Champ within 18 months
I say either Calzaghe or Kessler stop him
I would be suprised if Calzaghe fights him though he will have to wait for Calzaghe vs Kessler winner if it ever happens but i think Calzaghe will retire in next 18 month
just you wait and see, Inkin wont last too long.
froch is a touch fella
no push over even for jc - kess
I'm the real pretty boy
What you saying then Froch likes to touch people
i dunno about 1 round mr froch. he is a very confident fighter and rightly so, but that confidence comes accross as being cocky and arogant to me a lot of the time. i think he is simply saying that he would do manfredo in one round as a pop at calzaghe and implying that JC is fighting a bum and avoiding froch (which he constantly goes on about in a witter regarding hatton manner). which may very well be the case because if i put myself in JC's shoes and i had some gobby cocky young fighter (froch) bad mouthing me at every oportunity, i would make haste in getting him in the ring and giving him a hiding to shut him up and show him who is top dog at 168.
Make no mistake, Froch is a loud mouth bumb. He hasn't fought ANYONE. Manfredo would put a good azz whipping on him. If he wants to talk ish, I'd love to see him fight Peter, no matter what happens in the Calzaghe fight.
nah i think froch would batter manfredo. not in one round because froch isnt as good as he thinks he is.Originally Posted by Brockton Bomber
Thats bit biased if you ask me but i also disagree with Froch's statement i mean Manfredo is tough and has never been knocked down as an amateur or pro if i remember right.Originally Posted by Brockton Bomber
Froch could beat Manfredo but no way would it be in one round....I dont rate Froch all that highly to be honest. Im not sold on him.
Top fighters. And it's not just when he throws a punch that he's open. There are times where he will stand completely still with his hands dead low, like he's asking to get cranked. His jab is very very low as well, he's way too open for a counter right over the top. Don't think he'll go as far as people seem to think. Definetly an entertaining fighter, but I can't see him beating the best. Id pick Bute, Inkin, Pascal, and Mundine to beat him quite handily. Not to mention Calzaghe, Kessler, Taylor, Hopkins, etc.Originally Posted by Smashup
