So what do you guys think of this song?

Seems that at least here in England it's getting a lot of attention. I'd heard it on the radio and decided to Shazam it and then spent the whole of last weekend listening to it on Youtube.

It's funny thought because I really wasn't sure if I was listening to an old song from the 80's or not. Bit weird because the guy kinda sounds like Sting/ Peter Gabriel (there's LOADS of comments on Youtube basically saying the same thing!)

But the real clincher for me is the music video. It's just so 80's! I love it! The motion capture animation, the abstractness of it, the whole theme and general art direction etc etc.

Haunting melody and poetic lyrics. Anybody who has been through a tough break up can't help but relate to this.

My missis assures me he is very handsome. It has been posted numerous times in the new music thread here already and is indicative of a trend I have noticed over the last 5 years of more and more great stuff coming from Australia and New Zealand. Sounds a little like Pete Cetera from Chicago as well as those you mentioned. The painting style used in the video is very reminicient of Paul Klee a violinist and painter famous for trying to paint sound.

The album it's on isn't bad either.

I got the album last week and thought it was a bit bland. I haven't given it much of a chance yet though.

That song is great though, literally everyone over here seems to be talking about it.
