Peterson isn't even a real champion , he is a joke.

And I want to have sex with Kelly Brooks but does not mean it will happen.

Unification? Didn't Matthysse leave him drooling on the canvas just a fight ago? Good luck with that, Lamont, you roiding sonofabitch.

Lucky for him that was 1lb over the weight so it did not count.

Didn't see his fight last night, but I like Peterson enough as a boxer, he's talented and Matthyse clobbering him was very impressive. I wouldn't pick him against Garcia by any means, but he does have the tools to win that fight, it's far from a bad matchup.

Agree. Id expect Garcia to stop him but if he cant I would not be surprised to see Peterson outpoint him

Garcia will batter him. Garcia is a better boxer than I was giving him credit for but I'm fully on board with how good he is. I'd love him to fight Peterson, just to teach the cheating bastard a lesson.

Garcia does not want Peterson, he has just beaten the man that knocked him out, Garcia is getting criticism for fighting his next scheduled opponent. He would face further criticism for taking on Peterson.

Why would Garcia face criticism for fighting Peterson, it's a good fight between title holder and champion?

This stuff never stops amazing me. Garcia would be criticized for fighting a title holder but GGG is commended for fighting never weres. It bottles the mind.

(BTW it's not that I disagree with you Master, I'm just speaking on the absurd double standard)

Garcia is in a deep division with guys like Provodnikov, Demarco, Soto, Lundy, Alvarado, and rematches with Matthysse and Khan, and plenty of guys at Welter

GGG doesn't really have anyone other than Sturm, Quilin, and DeGale (Martinez has been out, and Barker retired) at Middle

Peterson would be a decent opponent but well Garcia is expected to do more since beating Lucas and has the opposition to be able to do so, that's where the double standard starts

So Garcia should fight worse fighters because they're there? The more I listen the more confused I become. Forget the good fighter that would be a unification fight because there's guys that are unproven. Wow

Some of those fighters are not worse, Peterson is not worthy just because he holds an alphabet strap does not mean people forgetting he got knocked out.

What more do you want GGG to do?

Okay, of that list he just made who would you pick against Peterson? And who is more proven than Peterson at 140? If you find 2 guys that meet both those criteria the conversation is over because people are just making stuff up.

I don't care about his alphabet title but 20 years from now nobody will care about Garcia beating Demarco or Soto or or or but unifying 3 titles will be mentioned on his bio
