Default whats a good weight for 6'1?

Im 6'1 and am around 220-225, would 200lbs be better? I have an almost atletic build( I need to work on my abs). Is it also true that if you drop down or go up in weight too much that your timing and speed wouldnt be as good as someone that is natrually that heavy?

Are you naturally that heavy? doesn't seem like a bad built for some one of your height but of course every one is different. Whats your build like, do you eat alot?

i am, but im happy being lighter than what i should be for my height. i dont wanna take a punch from anythin above middleweight lol.

i cannot put any weight on no matter how much i eat. maybe when i get older i will be able to put on weight an move up a couple of divisions.

A 147 guy getting punched by a 147 guy will get hurt just as much as a 168 guy getting punched by a 168 guy... depends on their build really but until cruiser weight the majority of boxers are the same build... just different heights. If Ricky Hatton was 3 inches taller he would probably be a light heavy.

I'd rather get punched by some one my weight at a weight I was strong at than cut down to a weight I was weak at and get hit by some one naturally strong at teh weight

im 18 and yeh i am still growing upwards, prob why i cant grow outwards. ill prob stop growing at around 6'3 which is obviously only acceptable as a heavyweight if not light heavy.

i mean has anyone seen anyone as tall as 6'3 not fightin as a heavy?

the only saving grace is that Bernard Hopkins is 6'1 and he fought at middleweight.

i really, really dont ever wanna fight at anythin higher than super middle.

Im 6'1 and around 88 to 90 kilos. I aint gonna say im heaps muscly coz i aint. I dont got no sixpack but i wouldnt say im fat or anything. I think genetics play a major part in your body shape. My dad is 6'2 and is generally a big bloke, not fat....just big as in wide shoulders and he used to be quite muscly. Im like him, im kinda of tall and got broad shoulders. If you feel you need to lose some weight then go for it but you could be at your ideal weight. Im finding it hard to lose weight as it could be im at my ideal weight where as when i was 95 kilos i shed the the fat pretty easy.

i'm 6'2 and have been since i was 16, at 16 17 i was around 140lbs and people used to call me a stick as well as pther things, now i'm 230lbs and get mistaken as a doorman or bouncer so age does make a difference
