Fightnews has Allan Green Fighting Rubin Williams on ESPN2 in jan. I guess that Andre Ward fight is off. What is up with Allan Green, he only fight guys that have been on contender? Rubin Williams didnt even make the first cut and looked to be in shitty shape. Another contender falls to "Contender Killer" Allen Green. I would like to see Green pursue a rematch against Miranda just to see if all his excuses(seems legit) had merit.

The Green-Williams fight was set up way before Green-Ward was even discussed. I wouldn't be surprise to see Green-Ward after Green-Williams takes place

"Olympian Andre Ward (14-0, 9KOs) was ready to take a major step up in class by meeting super middleweight puncher Allan Green (25-1, 18KOs) on the undercard of an HBO televised tripleheader on February 2. Unfortunately, it's not likely to happen.

Prior to being offered the Ward bout, Green was already scheduled to face Rubin Williams in the main event of a Jan. 4 ESPN televised card. According to one source, ESPN will not let Green out of his Jan. 4 obligation. Green is banking that he can win in January, and then face Ward at a later date in the year."
