Default Calzaghe's views on BBC sports personality of year award

Calzaghe hits nail on head. Love way he goes on about Tim Henman and Rusedski - he's right though they are losers.

Will really annoy me if Princess Anne's daughter wins it

Darren Clarke is odds on to win it

Calzaghe thinks he's hard done by, what about Phil Taylor?

he doesn't even get invited to the bash

Calzaghe is dead right, I thought Murray was a dead cert to win it but hopefully the little shite won't get his hands on it.

Darren Clarke is favourite? Ok I know this is callous but the only reason Clarke will win is because his wife just died of cancer.

The whole Sports Personality thing sucks, they always pick the wrong people.

I completely lost respect for the program after Ellen McCarthur got snubbed last year. I mean here is a somebody who did something amazing, set the fastest speed of all time for a solo race around the world, beating all the men, and she's a woman!

On top of that she became the fastest ever non grand prix driver on Top Gear, not bad seeing as she's at sea 9 months of they year!

And who did they give it to that year? Fucking Freddie Flintoff because he helped us win the Ashes, a crappy bullshit competition where we only play Australia and we do it every fucking year, I mean who cares it's hardly an achievement, about the same as either Oxford or Cambridge winning the boat race one year. Fucking bollocks

yep - the real WINNERS don't tend to get it

Gazza got it for crying one year !

Darren Clarke will win it - has he won a major ?!?

Good point about Phil Taylor - he is arguably the most dominant figure in an individual sport there has ever been.FACT

I hope that Calzaghe at least gets a nomination for BBC sports personality. He's been high profile enough, and with a huge win against LAcy, and the convincing destruction of Bika next weekend, he would probably warrant a nomination.
