Default Guerrero Backs Out To Be With Ailing Wife

Guerrero backs out of fight to be with ailing wife - Boxing - Yahoo! Sports

Very sad, both he and his wife made it out a lot to events during her battle with cancer but it appears that it might be winning

Not sure if I like the title of Yahoo's article. Reading through it they aren't trying to bash him, but the title kind of suggests it with "backing out" Just wish they would have rephrased it.

Thoughts are with Guerrero and his wife though. They have been battling this for a while now, wish them both well

Of course he can't fight with his wife in such a state. If she is losing the battle and time is limited, then the last thing you would want is to spend your time in isolation training for a fight. A really rough situation, fingers crossed for the both of them.

That was a good decision on the part of Guerrero. Given a choice, family should always take priority over career. I hope for the best for both of them.

For a while she was on the upside even at his last 2 fights looking a bit healthier...A young lady too young for such things to be happening especially with so much to live for....Guerrero can't be expected to go into any fight with his mind even at 50% at this moment......

Hopefully this will turn into a better situation and is only a short fall back....My best to the family
