Imo, Calzaghe-Pavlik is more exciting to watch.

I'd have to say pavlik, for if nothing else what would be up for stake if either fighter won. Both bring some jewlery and an undefeated record i belive.

Jones is only in this equation because of the $ factor. Yeah he has notched up a few wins but against who exactly, Prince Badi basic but an ok fighter, Hanshaw again ok, but destroyed by Dirrell, and Felix Trinidad (I don't care what anyone says he hadn't been in the ring for a couple of years and was a complete shadow of his former self not to mention fighting well over his natural weight) Jones Jr is a name but he is 39 years old and hasn't been a patch on his former self since winning the Heavyweight title 5 years ago. This fight will pull in millions in PPV etc so in regards to filling pockets it is the best fight for everyone involved to take. In regards to the fight is will be a dull one, as was the Hopkins fight.

In regard to Pavlik, he is the only real threat to Calzaghe who will rake in enough money to make it worth the risk. However it would mean Calzaghe having to get back to Super Middleweight and Pavlik stepping up, Pavlik will be much more keen than Calzaghe in doing this, and personally unless Jones Jr turns down the fight this will never happen.

Calzaghe v Jones Jr - Mega Bucks boring fight
Calzaghe v Pavlik - Possibility of a decent exciting fight but will never happen.

After seeing first hand what Pavlik did to Lockett, I don't think Calzaghe wants anything to do with Pavlik

Anyone in the top 10 would have done that to Lockett, it is hardly a guide, Lockett simply should not have been there.

I'd like to see Pavlik-Abraham and Jones-Calzaghe both take place later this year.

I'd like to see Pavlik settle in at 160 and start a middleweight reign. The middleweight title is one of the most historic and recognizable things in all of boxing.

No need to make a personal attack like that.

And I give a flying fuk about what he thinks.

With that said, I would rather see Calzaghe go up against Pavlik, it would be a much more exciting fight.

PAV vs Cal for me. 2 undefeated champions on a tussle looks more promising than an long time undefeated champ fighting an over the hill GREAT.
If Cal ducks Pav, he'd better put a beatin on RJJ coz if it's the other way around it's going to be a smelly and disgusting tarnish on the Welshmans record.

    Calzaghe vs Pavlik for me.

I'd much rather see Jones in against Tarver or Johnson again before getting a shot at Calzaghe
