Devin was the captain of the 2004 US olympic team. I read that he was supposed to fight Arreola, but sustained an injury. Does anyone know any details on that?

For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
Ol' Earl "Chocolate Drop" Ladson is a local fighter from where I live...I think he fights out of Winston-Salem....I live in Greensboro about 20 minutes away.
I don't think much of the Olympic US Heavyweights, they can't punch....Vargas, Estrada....they just can't punch at all
I think they are former teammates. Arreolla would kill Vargas. The proper weight for Vargas is CW, but he clearly isn't interested in making that weight. He doesn't have the power (Haye) or the skill (Chambers) to compete with top HW's as a blown up Cruiser.
Of the recent US Amateur 200lbers, I rate Vargas behind both BJ Flores and Matt Godfrey. Those two are moderately successful at 200, but Vargas is going to get his head mashed in if he steps in with a quality Heavy.
Speaking of US Amateur champs, Godfrey is fighting Herbie Hide in March. That's going to be an interesting matchup, a good test for "Too Smooth."
I'm with the guy above, he's seems too small for heavyweight. He's got a jelly belly he could work off.
If Eddie had some stamina then he'd be a terrible opponent for any up and coming fighter to have to face
